On the way up we’d speed pass increasingly rural landscapes, knowing that soon we would swim in a lake or walk up a mountain or eat barbecue sandwiches under a tree. Some of those days we enjoyed more than a dozen hours of sunlight.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-mce-style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eAs it grew colder and our trips became less frequent, the scenes out the window changed, but were in many ways lovelier. No longer hazy and gentle, they were now keen and a little melancholy. We hope the Two Hour Drive rugs can serve as a reminder of the spooky charm of the coldest months.
